Loka World

Loka’s world is entirely custom built. Explore the world to discover resources and terrain unique to each biome.

Dynamic World

fast travel

The world is full of large landmasses but there are plenty of ways to speed up travel around the map. There are numerous ships that travel back and forth between continents every minute and even airships to access areas like The End. On top of that, there are custom items like the Recall Stone, which teleports you back to spawn with the click of a button.

trails

Every step you take has an impact on the world around you. Well-traveled areas will start to wear down the grass and foliage, eventually leading to full-blown paths developing. If these paths stop being used, nature takes back control, and it’s as if nobody was ever there.

regeneration

If you don’t control the land you make changes to, it will regenerate after a period of time. This means the world looks clean and fresh almost everywhere you go. Even when you do own the territory, sometimes crops, flowers, and trees will regrow, allowing you to harvest them sustainably. But don’t worry this won’t come as a surprise as the zone you are in will clearly display whether your actions will be permanent or not.

biome restricted resources

Certain resources can only be obtained if you control the biome they are located in. This can make them hard to obtain, increasing the value and allowing some towns to create a monopoly on a resource. Conquest generator modules often require these protected resources to build, making them even more desirable. Crops are very climate-sensitive and can only be grown in the biomes they are found in by those that control them. When grown in other biomes they will not yield any harvest. Capital towns can also embargo a resource, giving them exclusive rights to it.

pvp zones

While PvP is enabled on the server, not everywhere is subject to these dangers. There are Sanctuary zones, which have no PvP, and Yellow Wilderness zones where you can die but all of your items are keep on death. Watch out for Red Wilderness zones though as you will lose all your items on death inside of them.
