Traversing Loka
Once you have made your way through the intro course you might be wondering. What now? How do I get to the Wilds? Where do I PvP? Can I join a town? It all starts with getting around.
the docks
To travel on Loka there are ships you can take. These are at the main docks, just off the path from where you spawned in and came into Aladra. These ships will take you to the Wilds. There are three to choose from, each corresponds to one of three continents: Ascalon, Garama, and Kalros. Each has unique biomes, resources, and terrain so choose wisely! Check the map to get a better idea of what they look like and take advantage of coordinates to plot a route.
teleporting
As a townless player or nomad, you have access to /tpa. This means you can request to teleport to towns and check them out or teleport to other nomads. Additionally, you can also make use of teleporting to spawn with /spawn and setting and warping to a /home.
lokan world
One you have made your way to a dock, by taking one of the three ships, you will step off into the Wilds! Be careful though, PvP is enabled out in the wilderness.
resource isles
These act how they sound, as a location to acquire resources. Each of the three continents has their own resource isle, you can view them all on the map. The resource isles on Ascalon, Garama, Kalros are great sources of valuable ores that you can convert into shards, the currency of Loka. You can use them to fund your town, buy ancient ingots, and purchase things on the market..
ruins
If you want to supplement your resources, you can find various old and abandoned structures across the continents of Loka. Old towns that have become ruins, former nomad hideouts, and more. Some of these locations can be quite rewarding to explore if you know where to look and listen.
