Fight Mechanics
attacking objective
Territory generators spawn 4 iron golem protectors. Attackers must kill them to become charged. Once charged you have to stand next to one of the 4 lamps for 5 seconds to overload it and deal damage. Once all lamps have taken 5 hits and been destroyed, attackers can enter the core room of the territory generator to defeat it and claim victory.
the core
Once attackers enter the core room, they will need to attack the core at its center. When this takes damage it will attempt to defend itself in a variety of ways. This ranges from swarms of exploding endermites to turning the whole floor to lava . Destroying the core is the only way to claim victory for the attackers.
defending objective
Inhibitors also spawn 4 iron golem protectors. Similar to attacking, Defenders will need to kill them to become charged and overload lamps. Once they destroy all the lamps, however, they will claim victory as inhibitors have no core. The alternative win condition for defenders is keeping their generator alive for the full hour. At which point the battle ends and they are declared victors, successfully defending their territory.
modules
Equip both Inhibitors and Generators with powerful modules to either defend your structure or help provide buffs to go on the attack. Generator lamps are all connected to a module and both are destroyed when the lamp is. Inhibitor modules however get weaker every time a lamp is destroyed as there is only 1. Defenders modules cost random resources, which are often protected, making controlling biomes even more important.
battlezone
The entire territory tile where a fight takes place becomes a battlezone. When you die inside this area you don’t drop any gear or items so death is less punishing. Your whole team’s armor changes to your town’s colors upon entering so it’s easy to see who's on which side.
